Prof. Prazsky started learning piano at the age
of seven from his sister who was doing already
concerts in Europe. After learning appropriate
basics father took over son's piano education. Still
as a child Mr. Prazsky entered private music school
in the city of Frydlant in the Czech Republic and
was taught by famous piano virtuoso Mrs. Marie
Czervinkova whose loving approach toward teaching
through motivation by pure beauty of world piano
composers ignited ultimate love and appreciation of
beautiful melodies in a young child Zdenek Prazsky.
At the age of ten then young classical pianist was
put on stage by school and performed on public very
successfully. As a child protege Zdenek entered
several piano competitions in big metropolitan city
of Liberec where he placed at the highest places.
Specialty of Mr. Prazsky were romantic solo piano
composers Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Chajkovsky,
Scriabin. In the adulthood Mr. Prazsky received PhD
in music, specialty concert classical piano.
Prof. Prazsky performed in various cities through
out Europe, visited England, Hungary, Yugoslavia,
Poland, Austria, Germany, Greece. In 1986 young
pianist defected from then communist Czechoslovakia,
was granted a political asylum in the USA and
relocated to Boston area. In Jewish community school
Prof. Prazsky met fantastic Russian concert pianist
Tatanya Dodochkin whose brilliance further motivated
him to focus even more on Sergey Rachmaninoff and
Alexander Scriabin and gave him valuable advice on
teaching in America. In 1992 Mr. Prazsky drove
across the US and settled in the Bay area, currently
living in San Jose and teaching privately, mainly in
Evergreen, Sunnyvale, Los Gatos, Mountain View,
Fremont. Mr. Prazsky's CD is for sale upon request,
playing Franz Liszt, Sergey Rachmaninoff, Alexander
Scriabin and his own composition.
