Yejin Han is a Cincinnati based
piano teacher, who is originally from Seoul, Korea. She started
to learn playing piano at the age of seven, and showed her
musical talent from from the age of ten by winning the junior's
division of the Seoul College of Education Piano Competition.
She has also won several scholarships and competitions in the US
including the Brevard Summer Music Festival, Colorado Spring
Summer Music Festival, and the Oklahoma Music Teachers
Association Competition. She has appeared as a guest soloist
with the Mozart Players in Eugene, Oregon, and performed as a
soloist with the orchestras including the Brevard Music Festival
Symphony Orchestra, the Colorado Spring Music Festival Chamber
Orchestra, and the Louisiana State University Symphony
Orchestra.
Ms. Han has earned the Master of Music degree from the Louisiana
State University, and studied the Artist Diploma at the
Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. She is currently
teaching at the Musical Arts Center where she is also serving as
the director of the Faculty Music Series, and serving as the
Chairperson of the Bach-Beethoven-Brahms Club/Teachers-Students
Performance which is sponsored by the Charles H. Dater
Foundation.
