My primary goals in teaching are to introduce students to the enjoyment of playing music and to help lay a strong foundation for the lifelong appreciation of music. I particularly enjoy helping young students discover their potential early and learn to enjoy playing music. Through patience, nurturing, and encouragement, my students develop a sense of accomplishment and confidence that help them broaden their skills and have fun while doing so.

I am also a member of the Music Teacher's National Association (MTNA), and have created the DVDs of both my own and of my students' recitals. Some of my piano students have gone on to became professional musicians.

Lessons include reading and playing of piano music, playing pieces of their own choosing, learning to complement original songs, and playing accompaniment for a single melody . All ages and skill levels are welcomed, including young children, as each student will work at their own pace. Flexible lesson schedules and times are available, and please feel free to ask about home lessons as well.
