Winnie Kerner
is a piano teacher with an independent
studio in Eugene, Oregon, offering classical
piano instruction to students of all ages.
She is an instructor at The University of
Oregon, where she has taught keyboard
skills, piano literature, and advanced
keyboard harmony since 1993. She got her
Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Music
from Wesleyan University in Connecticut and
her Master of Music degree in Piano
Performance from the University of Michigan.
As a piano instructor with over 30 years
experience, Winnie has taught at the Flint
School of Performing Arts, Center for
Creative Youth, Blue Lake, Temple University
Music Preparatory Division, and the
University of Oregon. Piano lessons include
theory, musicianship, and performance
technique and repertoire.
Winnie is accepting new
students of all levels and ages, children to
