The
Russian pianist, Victoria Dondysh, began studying
piano and composition at the age of 6. She performed
her own compositions at the Central Hall of the Arts
in Moscow and received honorable reviews from the
major Russian newspaper. After arriving in USA she
was accepted to Juilliard School of Music on a full
scholarship where she continued studying piano and
composition. She was a winner at the young artist
competition on Long Island where she performed
Mozart's concerto No. 17 in G major, K 453. She
holds her B.A and M.A. degrees from Manhattan School
of Music, where she studied with Byron Janis and
Arthur Balsam. For many years she was a student of
the renowned pianist Nina Lelchuk.
Victoria Dondysh performs throughout the USA and
Europe. She is included in 58th and 59th
addition of Who's Who in America publication,
appeared on Long Island's public television station
and was featured on WQXR (New York classical radio
station).
