Sandra Wright has been teaching people of all ages to play the piano and organ for over 30 years. Her studio is located in the northeast part of Chico, California where she teaches private and small group lessons. Sandra’s mission is to provide quality music instruction to people of all ages and abilities and to encourage all students to perform to the best of their abilities. Sandra believes that music making should be as fun as possible while working toward a high level of proficiency.

Sandra received her MA in music from California State University, Chico and then taught music theory, aural skills and piano there for several years. Sandra was also one of five pianists from the United States selected to study at the prestigious American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria during the summer of 1999. She also represented CSU, Chico in a tour of Costa Rica while she was a student. Sandra is a frequent performer in the north state area as accompanist for the CSUC choral groups, North Valley Chamber Chorale and other chamber music groups. Mrs. Wright is also an adjudicator for National Piano Guild Auditions.

Students at thewrightkeys studio have the opportunity to perform in the MTAC Monster Concert, the CMEA Solo Festival held annually at CSUC, National Piano Guild Auditions and studio recitals. Mrs. Wright is a certified vendor with the South Sutter Charter School system and CORE charter school.
