A native of Idaho, Tennille has
spent 11 years studying piano under private teachers and has
taught lessons for 4 years. She has enjoyed the honor of winning
several music scholarships from the National Federation of
Junior Music Clubs and receiving 9 superior ratings out of her
10 years competing in the annual festivals sponsored by the
federation.
Tennille teaches piano lessons out of her home and enjoys
teaching beginning through advanced levels. Using the Bastien
and Frances Clark series of musical studies, Tennille prefers
the multi-key approach to learning, which helps the student feel
comfortable at any hand position on the keyboard. She believes
in the development of the students' rhythmic senses through
strong practice habits, while making the musical learning
experience fun and rewarding.
