An
active performer and chamber musician, Edward Neeman
plays recitals across the globe, most recently in
Spain, Australia and Indonesia. Edward completed his
Bachelor of Music degree at the School of Music of
the Australian National University, and his Master
of Music at the Manhattan School of Music. He has
won several prizes in international piano
competitions, including first prize in the Joaquin
Rodrigo International Competition in Madrid.
Over the past five years, Edward has developed a
teaching style to bring out his students' innate
musical personalities and develop their appreciation
and enjoyment of music. He feels that every student
has an intrinsic musical talent, and with careful
guidance students will learn to express themselves
through their music. Musical training can also help
growth and healing in extramusical areas.
As a concert pianist, Edward has coached many
aspiring young pianists, and has taught privately in
Australia and the United States. Recently he has
taught students at the Levine School of Music in
Washington DC.
