Growing up in an
environment enriched with love for classical
music, Stephanie Hasselbach
studied piano as a young girl with her
grandfather, concert pianist Werner Langguth,
in Wertheim, Germany. Inspired by the
musical artistry in her family, Stephanie
studied traditional piano for 8 years. She
began to study the Suzuki Piano Method in
2006. Stephanie completed
teacher training apprenticeship courses
taught by Joan Krzywicki and is a registered
teacher with the Suzuki Association of the
Americas. She continues to attend many
collaborative workshops and research groups
with other Suzuki piano teachers to enhance
her teaching technique, including workshops
led by teachers from Dr. Shinichi Suzuki's
Talent Education Program in Matsumoto,
Japan. Stephanie is an
active member of the Suzuki Association of
the Americas, the Greater Philadelphia
Suzuki Association, and the Suzuki Piano
Basics Foundation. She is also a registered
Music Together teacher. Stephanie
is currently pursuing an A.A. in piano
performance at the Community College of
Philadelphia with plans on furthering her
music education. With her passion for music
and love for children combined, her goal is
to enrich the lives of children through
teaching music. |
