I teach piano to students of all ages and abilities at my studio in Guernevillle, California. Each student is unique. It is my aim as a teacher to provide a solid classical foundation of reading, technique, music theory, repertoire, and interpretation and to work with them to help them find their individual path in music. I believe strongly in the beauty and importance of live music.

I grew up between New York City and Israel and was fortunate to work with wonderful music teachers throughout my childhood. I majored in English Literature and Linguistics at Tel Aviv University and studied at the Tel Aviv Academy of Music, focusing on piano, composition, and theory. I then moved to Northern California and settled on the lower Russian River, where I have raised my family and taught piano for many years. I also founded and direct the River Choir, have worked as the musical director for numerous theater productions, and have taught choir in local schools. Additionally, I am a member of The Amaryllis Trio and play accordion as a member of Jubilee Klezmer Ensemble, as well as serving on the board of the Redwood Arts Council and CalCap Chamber Music Workshop.

As a member of the Music Teachers Association of California, my students have the opportunity to participate in the organization’s festivals, competitions, and Certificate of Merit program, as well as at my studio’s recitals throughout the year. I enjoy spending time with my family and corgis, hiking, playing chamber music, and studying cello and banjo.
