Suzanne
Hilton's academic and musical career has included work as a
piano instructor and performer, choral director,
professional accompanist, and university faculty instructor.
Her primary instrument is the piano, and she maintains a
private practice in Arnold, MD, as a teacher of piano,
theory and composition. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Music from the State University of New York at Oswego and
a Master of Arts degree in Music from the University of
Maryland at College Park. She is a PhD candidate in
Musicology at College Park and a student in the Theology and
Religious Studies department at the Catholic University of
America in Washington, D.C. She currently teaches at
Montgomery College in Rockville, MD and American University
in Washington, D.C.
