My Teaching Approach

Graduate of Moscow Conservatory and University of Texas at Austin, I offer American and Russian methods of piano pedagogy to students of all ages who can read music, starting at age 5 to adults. I constantly and tirelessly work on true musicianship through developing unsurpassed technical skills in my students. This allows them to successfully embark on pieces with any technical and musical challenges.

My focus is to motivate and encourage students to prepare for competitions as an immediate goal in their studies. This requires a dedication to continuous daily practicing of minimum 1 to 2 hours, depending on the level and repertoire. Therefore daily 1-2 hours practicing is a requirement for acceptance into my piano studio.

Please take a look at my CD at www.centaurrecords.com. For the first consultation and audition please make a check for $50 payable to Dr. Saida Kafarova. The fee must be paid before the consultation. Thank you for your interest in our academy and I hope to meet you soon!!
