About the Teacher
|
 Piano Lessons in Your Home or Steve's Studio!
Steve Behrens majored in Music (Piano) at Rutgers University and
has been on the faculty at the International School of Piano in
Vermont. He holds a Masters degree in Teaching with a specialty
in Early Childhood Development / Elementary Education from
Montclair State University. He has an additional Masters degree
in School Counseling from George Washington University and is
also a nationally certified counselor. Steve has been in the
field of education publicly and privately for fourteen years. In
addition to giving private piano instruction, he has worked as
an elementary school classroom teacher and guidance counselor.
Steve's teaching style is characterized by encouragement,
support, patience, enthusiasm and respect. His students are
given opportunities to explore new areas for musical growth. He
works with students of all ages (beginner, intermediate, early
advanced) bringing joy, love and focus to lifelong learning.
Steve's studio is located in Royal Palm Beach, Fl. He will
travel to your home in surrounding Palm Beach County areas.
