I have Phd in music and I work
relaxed with those who want that, and I work very disciplined
with you if want to achieve your dreams in music.
For seriously oriented students I will provide the best
knowledge of European School of Piano Performance for growing up
a pianist-professional. It will help them to continue their
studying on the college and conservatory level at any college in
USA and Europe. For those who will not choose a career in music,
my goal is to help each one to develop a love and appreciation
of music. I hope that music will be an avenue of fulfillment and
a source of joy that will last them a lifetime. My course offers
private lessons for all ages and abilities. It teaches how to
read music sheet, solve piano performance problems, and develop
ear awareness. It introduces to basic music theory and
improvisation, and music history and appreciation. Students will
learn a wide variety of musical styles from classical to modern,
hymns, pop, and old time favorites.
I earned my Master degree in piano performance, education, and
chamber music and Doctoral Degree in Chamber Music and Education
in Kazan, Russia. I enhanced my knowledge in post-doctoral
courses with the leading professors of Moscow conservatory and
Academy by Gnesinuch. I was teaching advanced students at the
Ufa State Institute of Arts and Eastern Michigan University and
very beginners at the Special School for Gifted Children and in
at my private studio for almost 30 years. Currently I am
teaching at Neighborhood Music School of Georgia State
University in Atlanta, at the Music School Do-Re-Mi, and at my
private studio in Alpharetta. I am a member of Music Teachers
National Association since 1993. I am very experienced to teach
the most beginners, kids (starting age 6-7) and adults, and
prepare advanced students for colleges and universities. I am a
specialist in Baroque music. I studied my second instrument
-harpsichord at the Moscow Collegium of Early Music and at the
School of Music of the University of Michigan and offer
harpsichord lessons for beginners as well.
My students have won several competitions, many of them going on
to pursue a career in music.
