My goal of teaching music is to develop one's own sensitivity and discipline, building self-confidence, and ultimately becoming one's own best teacher. With a solid foundation of technique, sight-reading ability, theory, and performing, the road to learning becomes much easier.

I have taught piano lessons for over 30 years, and my students range in age from 5-70. I have been an active member of the Music Teachers National Association for over 10 years, and have taught master classes throughout the United States. My students have won competitions, performing at Carnegie Hall. I believe with a solid foundation of theory, sight-reading, and technical skills, music learning will always be a fun challenge, as well as bringing joy to so many others be it for fun or as a career goal. My motto is to teach lessons with discipline and love. Students learn the true meaning of hard work at a young age, and this will set the stage for their entire lives. My lessons are 30/45/60 minutes once a week, and I give an introductory lessons at no charge.

I hold monthly recitals at my home, located in Rohnert Park, located three blocks from Sonoma State University, and a five to ten minute drive from Petaluma, Penngrove, and Santa Rosa. I teach all levels, from beginners to adults.

I have taught master classes throughout the United States, been adjudicator for many competitions, including the Junior Bach Festival, MTAC, United States Open Music Competition, and the San Francisco Young Pianists' Competition. I also have an extensive background in chamber music and accompanying nationally recognized musicians.
