individualized piano instruction for motivated children at
intermediate and advance levels; adults at all levels. Voice
lessons for beginners age 13 and over.

In six years in Boston, performed in over 175 concerts,
including a solo piano recital at Longy School of Music;
vocal recitals with French coloratura soprano Carole Bajac,
Beth Thompson Kaiser, Rebecca Hayden, Emily Browder, Andrew
Davidson, Richard Moskowitz and many others. Concerts of
opera, lieder, contemporary American music and chamber music
at the Longy School of Music, the Federal Reserve Bank of
Boston, MIT, the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth,
Harvard University and Emerson College. Appearances at
several professional series at the Longy School of Music,
including the Modern American Music series and the Schubert
Bicentennial series. Accompanied masterclass series given by
Phyllis Curtin, Lucy Shelton and Robert Willoughby. Pianist
for the New England Opera Theatre. During 15 years in
Vermont, performances with outstanding musicians including
cellist Dieuwke Davydov and saxophonist Steven Stusek; 15
years of concert appearances at Middlebury College, the
University of Vermont, many churches and Dartmouth College.
Concert series with my own piano trio, Trio Monte Verde, and
with the Middlebury College choir, Festival Choir and
community choirs in Middlebury, and with Burlington's Musica
Propria. Taught piano privately and at Middlebury College.
Lecture recitals of Samuel Barber songs and Leonard
Bernstein's Songfest. Actively premiering works by Swiss
virtuoso pianist Ernst Levy, both solo and chamber music.

Currently substituting. Previously organist at Overbrook
Presbyterian Church. A solo organ recital featuring works by
Jehan Alain, Hindemith and William Bolcom commemorated that
church's Holtkamp organ. Previous solo organ recitals at Old
West Church in Boston, Grace Episcopal Church in Salem,
Massachusetts, and, in Vermont, at Middlebury Congregational
Church and Trinity Episcopal Church in Rutland. Former
organist positions at Hingham Congregational Church, Grace
Lutheran Church in Needham, Massachusetts, and University
Lutheran Church in Harvard Square. Nine years as organist at
the Middlebury Congregational Church and music director at
the Vergennes Methodist Church in Vermont.

Private vocal coach and voice teacher. Solo teacher of adult
education class called "So, You Wanna be an Opera
Singer??!!" which presented opera scenes. Music director for
The New England Opera Theatre. Coach for New England
Conservatory's Continuing Education Opera Workshop and
Richard Crittenden's Opera Workshop and guest coach for the
Longy Opera Workshop. In Boston, produced, directed and
accompanied performances of Robert Kapilow's Green Eggs &
Ham, PDQ Bach's The Stoned Guest, and Ernst Levy's opera buffa
The Martini Stand. In Vermont, director and designer
of Middlebury Community Players' travelling productions of
Greater Tuna and Goodbye Howard.

Studied piano and organ at Oberlin Conservatory. For several
years studied nagauta and the shamisen in Kyoto, Japan.
Piano teachers have included Jack Radunsky, Theodore Lettvin,
Morton Estrin, Philip Evans, and Wayman Chin. Organ teachers
were Richard Boehm on Long Island, David Boe at Oberlin
Conservatory and Peter Sykes in Boston.
