Mr.
Sachs has a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from
UCLA and a teaching credential in music from CSU at
Dominguez Hills. He is a protegee of the renowned
jazz master, Harry Fields. He performed for ten
years at the Century Plaza Hotel, and toured as a
solo pianist for Princess Cruise Lines. He was an
instructor for over a decade at the acclaimed
Eubanks Conservatory of Music teaching piano, theory
and harmony. Mr. Sachs is currently composing and
releasing several CD's created from his home studio
in San Clemente. Evan has an exceptional gift of
communication and inspiration with students. Mr.
Sachs has instrumental training spanning 40+
years with an expansive understanding of different
styles including classical, jazz, and rock and roll
repertoires. His students range in age from 5 to
over 70. Sightreading, technique, rhythm training,
interpretation, home schooling, improvisation,
accompaniment styles, college prep, performance
anxiety, and professional consultation are all part
of the curriculum Mr. Sachs offers. For more about
