Director of CHRISTUS MUSICUST,
Peter Krenske, was organ pupil of Marie-Louise Langlais and Naji
Hakim (France), and piano pupil of Max Olding and Oleg Stepanov
(Australia). He holds the St Nicolas Award of the Royal School
of Church Music, and was winner of the Hamilton International
Organ Competition. His piano and organ recitals have been in
Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Italy, Slovenia and the
USA.
Krenske has been member of the St Johns Cathedral Choir
(Brisbane), the choir of the Bach Akademie (Switzerland), and
was founder of the Chorale- Maurice-Duruflé. He has recorded
several organ and piano CDs, and has published virtuoso organ
transcriptions of Requiem (Duruflé), Responses pour Tenebrĉ (Poulenc),
Gloria (Vivaldi), and Chichester Psalms (Bernstein). Krenske's
Mass for Solo Soprano was premiered in 2001. He is assistant
organist at St Johns Cathedral Brisbane, and appeared as "Ducart"
in the television series, The Lost World. He is a chief advisor
for the Mussorgsky Award.
