Musically Motivating Students to Their Highest Potential
Peggy BeVille holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Stetson
University, DeLand, Florida. Her major was church music with
organ as her principal instrument. She is a member of the
American Guild of Organists-Clearwater Chapter, the Upper
Pinellas Music Teachers Association affiliated with the Music
Teachers National Association, and the National Guild of Piano
Teachers.
Between 1989-2003, she served as organist at George Young
Memorial United Methodist Church and Sylvan Abbey United
Methodist Church. She is presently organist at St. Luke’s United
Methodist Church, St. Petersburg, Florida.
In 1997, her dedication recital on the new Rodgers organ at
G.Y.M.U.M.C. featured multi-track sequencing on the PR300 MIDI.
This incorporation of the latest in digital technology enabled
her to prerecord four instruments and solo parts and still play
the organ accompaniment live.
Instruction is available at Bayside Arts Academy (The Piano
Company), 1710 N. Hercules Ave., Clearwater, Florida 33765,
phone 727-447-9683 or at 2955 Union Street Clearwater, Florida

My mission
As a piano teacher, my mission is to prepare students for
performance opportunities that include:
-
Annual National Piano Playing Auditions, local festivals,
recitals and competitions.
-
Playing something as basic as “Happy Birthday” when called
upon
-
Accompanying programs and choirs in school or places of
worship
My instructional style
My musical teaching philosophy can best be described as one of
praise and positive reinforcement.
My students
I enjoy working with students from diverse cultures whether
children, adolescents or adults and find working with those
having special learning challenges especially rewarding.
Tips for parents and family members
-
Listen to the student’s efforts and express your enjoyment of
the student’s playing.
-
Record a practice and play it back for the student. This helps
them learn to listen and accurately hear as they play.
