Oriana
Davis-MerollaOriana Davis
was born 10/15/1970 in Buffalo New York. It was at the age of 6
when she began to take a piano lessons from an Italian pianist,
Roberto Mango. At the age of 18, Oriana went to Italy to study
music with the nationally acclaimed pianist/ teacher Marisa
Carretta. At the age of 24, Oriana received her diploma in
classical piano from the conservatory of music San Pietro a
Majella (Naples, Italy) and also received a diploma in solfeggio
and music theory from the Conservatory of Music of Salerno
(Salerno, Italy). Oriana worked as a piano instructor for
Ciliberti Studios in Naples, and also as a teacher for the
Academy of Music of Salerno (Italy), where she also helped
prepare students for state exams. As far as performance career,
Oriana has played for many schools and music studios in Italy,
and was invited to make several guest appearances with the
Bellini Orchestra.
Today, Oriana is teaching all
levels and ages at the Merolla's Music located in Yardley, PA.
As well as adult piano students, she has a special love for
kids- in fact, Oriana also teaches music classes for children
from 4 to 6 years old.
