WORK HISTORY 

December 1999 to April 2001: Loomis Basin United Church of Christ Choral accompanist. 

Summer 1996: University of Nebraska, Lincoln: Summer Music Camp Counselor, piano division. 

1981 to Present Independent Piano Teacher and Accompanist 

Instruct students in piano technique and literature, music history, ear training, performance, and music appreciation both individually and in groups. Accompany soloists and ensembles. 
  
VOLUNTEER WORK 

1989 to 1993 Founder, Childsong, Inc. 

Wrote strategic plan and incorporated this non-profit organization. Upheld this agency’s mission to educate the community about child abuse through music and to raise funds for non-profit child abuse treatment centers. Sponsored Brake the Cycle: National Ride to Stop Child Sexual Abuse. Produced, marketed, and distributed cassette entitled Silent Children. Performed at the Washington Monument. Coordinated events with media at local, state, and national levels. Public speaking. Appearances on television, radio, and in print. 

1994-1995 Lay Rabbi, Einstein Senior Center 

Led monthly Sabbath Services at this facility. Services included reading of English and Hebrew, cantorial chanting, and leadership in prayer and worship. 

1997 to 1998 Docent, Music for Minors 

Duties included classroom instruction of music appreciation, education, and theory to elementary school students.
