Born in Sweden and raised in
Spain, Martin Soderberg came to the United States of America in
1979 and studied at the Manhattan School of Music, where he
graduated with a Bachelors, Master and Doctorate Degrees.
He is the winner of several competitions, including First Prize
Winner of the "Pilar Bayona" International Piano Competition in
Zaragoza, Spain, in 1985. He also won the Artists International
Auditions in New York City in 1988 and made a successful New
York Recital Debut at Weill Concert Hall. The New York Times
praised his performance with rave reviews (available upon
request). Mr. Soderberg has performed extensively in
Latinamerica, Europe and in the USA with orchestras and in
recital. In 1999 he was invited by the Government of The
Dominican Republic to serve as President of the Jury at the
Fifth International Festival for Young Latinamerican Pianists,
held in Santo Domingo. He also taught Master Classes and
performed a recital at the National Theatre. Martin Soderberg is
also founder and president of MMML (Music, Musicians, Music
Lovers) a worldwide association of musicians that provides new
performance opportunities to its members and support for

Martin Soderberg is currently Director of the Classical Music
Program at the Harbor Conservatory for the Performing Arts in
New York City, where he teaches piano, and piano related courses
like a workshop on piano technique, lectures on "how to practice
