Lori
Moran offers Piano & Voice Lessons in two studio
locations...Mid-Wilshire/Miracle Mile District, and
in Redondo Beach. She teaches children, over age 4,
and adults at all levels. Lori Moran is an accomplished pianist, singer,
recording artist, and teacher with 19 years of
experience in performing and teaching. She has a
special gift for nurturing the talents of children
and adolescents, helping to bring out their own
natural musicality and self-expression, and tailors
lessons to the individual needs of each student,
regardless of age, skill or experience level. Lori's
positive and upbeat approach to teaching makes
learning a fun and rewarding experience for her
students.
TEACHING CREDENTIALS: Ms. Moran earned a Bachelor
of Music Education Degree from Florida State
University and received further training in Los
Angeles. A certified and accredited instructor, she
has taught voice and piano in public and private
schools, churches, in her private studio, and has
served as performance workshop clinician for The
Walt Disney Company. She is a member of National
Guild Auditions, the National Association of
Teachers of Singing, Music Educators' National
Conference, Actors' Equity Association, and is
listed in the National "Who's Who Among America's
Teachers".
PERFORMING CREDENTIALS: Lori has performed with
the world-renowned Disney Voices of Liberty, has
appeared on numerous Disney recordings, and has been
a featured soloist for the Florida Symphony
Orchestra, the Tampa Bay Oratorio, and the Orlando
Opera Company. She has traveled the world performing
for Crystal Cruises, the industry leader in luxury
cruising and has performed every style of music from
pop/rock to jazz, country to opera, and musical
theater to big band. Among her musical theater
credits are the roles of Christine in Phantom of the
Opera, Adelaide in Guys & Dolls, Laurie in Oklahoma,
Fantine in Les Miserables, Fanny Bryce in Funny
Girl, Sally Bowles in Cabaret, and Dolly Levi in
Hello, Dolly.
- Private Piano & Voice Lessons available: 30
minutes, 45 minutes, or 60 minutes per week
- Lessons focus on learning to read music,
technique, music theory, composition &
improvisation.
- All styles and periods of music are studied,
i.e., classical, modern, jazz, pop, folk, rock,
blues, etc.
