About the Teacher
|
 Lucy Clevenger began her music education at the State Music
College in
Kiev, Ukraine, where she studied music theory, history, teaching
methods
and piano performance. After graduating with honors, Lucy
enrolled at the
State Music Conservatory in Kiev, where she continued her
studies and
earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in 1988. Since then she has
taught
piano to students of all levels and ages. Lucy utilizes a
traditional
approach to piano instruction, with emphasis on music theory,
sight
reading, ear training and development of physical technique.
Student
performance is encouraged, at concerts held twice yearly.
Students of all levels, beginning to advanced, are now being
accepted.
