Hello, I'm Lisa-Michelle Boucher. I'm an American pianist who's been residing in Austria since 1988. I teach piano to talented professionals and amateurs of all ages. Professional soloist, instrumental and vocal accompanist, chamber ensemble pianist, orchestra pianist and opera coach. Many performances throughout Europe , the USA and Asia . Prize-Winner at many International Piano Competitions. Frequent coaching and performing at many Austrian Music Festivals, most notably, with the Vienna People’s Opera (Volksoper), the Klangbogen Festival in Vienna and the Summer Festival in St. Margarethen in Burgenland. From 1995 to 1997 Vocal Coach at the Vienna Chamber Opera. Since 1996 on the Faculty of the University for Music and Dramatic Arts in Vienna , Austria . Since 2001 accompanist for the International Summer Academy of Music in Feldkirchen, Kärnten (Carinthia). July 2003 founder and teacher of the International Master Class for Piano Accompaniment at the Academy in Feldkirchen, Kärnten ( Carinthia ). Studies at the Juilliard School in New York with Seymour Lipkin and Margo Garret, at the Conservatoire de Musique in Fontainebleu with Philipe En tremont and Gabrielle Casadesus and at the University for Music and Dramatic Arts in Vienna Austria with Noel Flores and Rudolf Kehrer (Guest Professor from the Moscow Conservatory). Master’s in Piano Performance form the University of Music in Vienna.
