Linda Hughes
is a member of MTAC (Music Teachers
Association of California) and NATS
(National Association of Teachers of
Singing). In addition to her BA in Music
from UCLA, she has also received advanced
training in the vocal belting style plus
additional piano pedagogy from Shenandoah
University, University of CA at Fullerton
and Saddleback College.
Some of her students participate in the prestigious
Certificate of Merit Program. There are two recitals
per year plus additional opportunities to perform at
Community Service Recitals. Piano students are
encouraged to practice technique and sightreading
and study theory while learning both classical
pieces and some "fun" music. The objective is to
instill a love of music while developing playing
skills. Voice students focus on technique as well as
performance skills.
Linda has two studios, one in San Clemente and the
other in Mission Viejo.
