I started playing piano at the age of 6. After completing 17 years of academic music education I received a degree of Bachelor of Music in piano performance and pedagogy from Rostov-on-Don Music Conservatory (Russia) with qualification of a concertmaster and piano instructor. I have taught piano at Music Schools and privately in Russia since 1989 and New Jersey since 1998.

Location:

My studio is located in Garfield (Northern New Jersey Bergen county). I teach at my studio or at your home through out the community in southern Bergen County, as well as near counties (Essex). Adjacent towns: Saddle Brook, Elmwood Park, Clifton, Lodi, Paramus, Hackensack, Fair Lawn, Montclair etc.

Experience:

• I have been teaching piano performance and theory for almost 20 years.
• My students range in age from 4.5 to 65, beginners through advanced level.
• I concentrate on correct piano technique, performance, sight-reading, knowledge of theory and musical history for advanced students.
• My teaching style is flexible, I can combine Russian and American methods of piano school. I teach classical, pop music and jazz, depending on individual preference. I am very skilled, patient, dedicated teacher and inspire all my students to practice and play the piano to the best of their abilities.

Lesson details:

• Lessons are usually once a week.
• Student may choose 1/2 hour, 45 minutes or 1 hour lesson.

Fees:

$21.00 - half-hour, $31.00 - 45 min, $39.00 - 1 hour. (In my studio)
Rates for lessons in your home will be a little higher depending on the distance to travel from my location.
