Since earning her MM from Northwestern University in 1998, Kim has been active as a soloist, chamber musician, accompanist, and teacher. As a soloist, Kim specializes in new works for piano, and performs with Tacoma New Music. As an accompanist/chamber musician, Kim performs regularly with students and professionals in recital, competition, and audition settings.
Kim has maintained a private teaching studio since 1995, and provides students with regular recital opportunities. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Lesson rate is $30/hour, with lesson length determined on an individual basis by age and level.
