Jodi-Ann Russell
is currently the President of the New Jersey
Music Teachers Association Collegiate
Chapter of Westminster Choir College where
she is working on her Masters of Music in
Piano Pedagogy and Piano Performance. She
graduated with high honors from Virginia
Commonwealth University where she holds her
Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. She
is currently teaching at the Westminster
Conservatory, Inspira Cultural and
Performing Arts Center, Brunswick Music
Academy, Innovative Piano, where she
specializes in instruction to individuals
with autism and other challenges, and her
own private studio. She has taught
preschool, elementary, middle, high school,
and college students as well as working
adults and senior citizens with a wide
variety of backgrounds and musical goals.
Jodi-Ann is a very encouraging, patient and
versatile instructor who is always excited
to teach. She structures each lesson to
include musicality, ear training, technique,
theory and relaxed movement at the piano.
She makes sure the lessons are fun, creative
and that the students develop a deep
understanding and love for music. She
individualizes each lesson and teaches each
student based on their specific strength,
weakness, learning style and musical goals. |
