| In 1999 Jessica
Reddell received a Bachelor's of
Music in Classical Piano Performance from
the University of Miami in Coral Gables,
Florida. While there she studied Classical
Piano with Dr. Rosalina Sackstien, Jazz
Piano with Jeff Laibson and Organ with Dr.
Warren Canfield. Here Jessica began to delve
heavily into music theory and composition
and wrote numerous pieces for the Electronic
Music Ensemble under the direction of Dr.
Fred DeSena.
Upon graduation Ms. Reddell devoted
herself to composing full-time and founded Southern
Oracle, an avant-garde piano rock band which
performed several times a week throughout Miami and
South Florida. Shortly thereafter she began teaching
and discovered that pedagogy was her true calling.
In 2002 she left Miami for San Francisco to pursue
teaching full-time in a world-class city where both
traditional and contemporary music and arts thrive.
Since then she has been teaching privately in San
Francisco and has been the Organist for St. John's
Oratory, Fisherman's Memorial Chapel on Fisherman's
Wharf where she specializes in accompanying
Gregorian Chant and the Traditional Latin Mass.
Jessica also is an avid fan of piano duets and
performs a wide array of duet pieces and original
arrangements around San Francisco with her duet
partner, Matthew Lee Cannon.
Ms. Reddell is an active member of
the American College of Musicians, Piano Guild and
the Music Teachers' Association of California.
