Whitehead has performed in New York and Los
Angeles. She has won several first place awards from
the International Piano Recording Competition,
sponsored by the National Guild of Piano Teachers'.
As a member of the Juilliard Chorus Ms Whitehead
performed for Jaqueline Kennedy, with Leonard
Bernstein and the New York Philharmonic Orchestra.
This performance was for the grand opening of
Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. The
performance was nationally televised and recorded by
Columbia Records.
