Teaching:
- I have been teaching piano
and music theory for over 20 years.
- After completing my
education, I worked as a member of faculty of both Kharkov
State Academy of Culture and Children's School of Music,
where I've got valuble experience in working with students
of different levels and ages.
- From 1995, I teach privately
in Vancouver. Lessons available in English, Russian,
Ukrainian.
- My studio is located in New
Westminster, easily accessible from all over Lower Mainland.
I offer piano, theory, harmony,
counterpoint, analysis and music history instructions. My
students take part in festivals, RCM and ABRSM examinations,
studio recitals and recordings.
In addition to vast music literature available, I use my own
arrangements of your favorite melodies, made for your level and
showcasing strongest points of your technic.
My theory books "Jorney in the Circle of Fifths" and "Harmony
for RCM Students" proved to be a successful tool in learning
music theory and preparing for RCM examinations.
