Daniel Lopez Lauber
is an Uruguayan-American pianist, born in Mercedes, Uruguay, began studying piano at the age of 6. In 1996, he obtained a Professor of Piano, Solfeggio and Music Theory Diploma from the Institute of Music Education in Uruguay. As a Professor of Piano he continued to perfect his skills in Montevideo and Mercedes, Uruguay.

In 1998, Daniel entered "Ciudad de Montevideo" a piano competition in which he won a scholarship.

A few of Daniel's more significant events include:

  • 2nd place winner of Piano Competition City of Montevideo (Uruguay) in October 2000.
  • 1st place winner of two piano competitions at "Ateneo de Montevideo" (Uruguay) on October 28, 2001.
  • Two, 1-year Scholarships for private piano lessons obtained from "Sociedad Uruguaya de Artistas Interpretes" (SUDEI) in 2000 and 2002.
  • Winner of Juventudes Musicales del Uruguay in 2002.

In 2004 Daniel was selected for a performance scholarship sponsored by the College of Charleston (SC).

Daniel holds a Professor Certificate as well as an Artist Certificate in Piano Performance from the College of Charleston.

As a teacher he is offerring in-home piano lessons for beginners including children from ages 5 to 15 years old. Learning the piano will help your child learn better in school, gain self-esteem, as well as increase coordination and concentration. With 15 years of experience DLL Piano will provide you with a wealth of musical knowledge, giving you the tools to discover what playing the piano is all about. Serving The Woodlands, Conroe, Spring and surrounding areas in Texas.

He is a Certified Piano Tuner and Repair Technician and is serving schools, churches, homes, concert halls, restaurants, hotels & nursing homes in the greater Houston area including Montgomery, The Woodlands, Spring, Conroe, Magnolia, Tomball, Willis, Kingwood, Humble, Atascocita, Houston, Klein, Huntsville, Livingston, Cleveland, Memorial and Cypress, Texas.
