| About the Teacher
|
David is currently the Music
Director at Ernest Myatt Presbyterian Church and Branch Manager
of R.A. Daffer Church Organs, INC. of Raleigh, NC. He has
considerable experience as an organist and church organ sales
representative. He has spent time working in Charleston, SC and
Washington, DC. While in Charleston, David apprenticed with a
local pipe organ company. He is a native of North Carolina, and
attended the North Carolina School of the Arts and Charleston
Southern University as a voice, piano and organ performance
major. While in college, David won numerous honors in voice
performance in competitions at the state and regional levels. He
has been active in church music since the age of fifteen, and
while in Charleston, SC, he was Choirmaster and Organist for six
years at the historic French Protestant (Huguenot) Church. In
addition, he has always maintained a private teaching studio. He
prides himself on designing a comprehensive musical education
plan for each student. David represents Rodgers Organs in the
Raleigh, NC market area, and Fratelli Ruffatti Pipe Organs of
Padua, Italy in the Raleigh market as well as South Carolina
