In the Piano Studio I expect only the best efforts from my students, of
course they must only expect the best from me. Each student has the opportunity to play an
instrument, what that student chooses to do with their desire and talent is their
responsibility. My part, as a teacher, is to guide our student through the fundamentals of
music through the piano. I believe we achieve this with: finger exercises, arpeggios,
chords, chord progression, scales and instructional music that guides our student into a
progressive and enlightening piano study. Cheryl
Picerno, of Cheryl Picerno-Piano
Instruction, has been teaching private lessons since 1991. In 1997 has opened her piano
studio to further enrich the many talented students that pass through the door. Cheryl
attains an A.A degree in Early Childhood Education, Pursuing a B.A. in Music Education,
and received private lessons from Cleita Lowe, and Cecilia Wilson. Cheryl is currently
active in The American Diabetes Association Benefit, The Alzheimer Association Benefit and
The Girlscouts of the USA.
