I have been playing the piano for eighteen years. In high school, I won third place in the Lion's Club in the piano competition, and second place in a piano concerto competition sponsored by the NVMTA.

As a GMU student, I was selected to perform in two honors recitals. As a George Mason University student, I have performed at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, and the All-Steinway Concert. I was selected to perform at the Jean Carrington Cook Recital and to perform at the Peterson Fundraising Event. I recently performed the third movement of Beethoven's Waldstein Sonata in Fairfax Symphony's Master Class with Matti Raekallio. My pedagogy training at GMU includes being an intern for an introductory music class, teaching and observing lessons for my Piano Pedagogy class, and attending a Piano Pedagogy seminar at GMU. After I complete one more course this year, I will have my Bachelor of Music Degree with a concentration in piano performance.
