Barbara Davis has provided over 30 years of professional piano instruction to students of all ages and experience levels. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Music with an emphasis in piano performance from the University of California at Santa Barbara, a Secondary Teaching Credential in Music, and advanced training at the Music Academy of the West with Reginald Stewart.

Mrs. Davis is a former teacher at Cerritos College Community Education in the Children's Piano Program and North Orange County Community College District’s Kid’s College in Piano. She was a faculty member at Cerritos College in the Adult Education division for ten years during which she performed piano music for residents of Assisted Living Homes and Convalescent Hospitals.

Mrs. Davis has been a member of the Music Teachers' Association of California and the National Guild of Piano Teachers. Her students have won several Bach Festival Awards during her time in the former group and she was placed on the Guild Honor Roll for the latter association.

Mrs. Davis teaches the traditional classical method which includes reading music and understanding music theory. She also teaches selections from popular, jazz, rags and blues, according to the desire of the student. Lessons include performance opportunities.

Children ages 4 to 6 flourish using "Music For Little Mozarts", an innovative child developmental program that Mrs. Davis studied with one of it’s composers, Christine Barden, and taught at Cerritos College. Mrs. Davis also enjoys working with adult students of all levels.
