Twenty years of musical experience with a forte in piano/keyboards and
composition. 14 years experience with computer music, MIDI, and synthesizers.
10 years experience in music and piano instruction. Ability to teach students of all ages and levels- passion and belief in music and music education.
I teach primarily Jazz and Popular piano styles. I also include a lot of
American Harmony and Music Theory in my instruction to improve musicianship and listening skills. I encourage students to learn composition/songwriting and improvisation, once they have a strong understanding of theory.
