I am a Russian born and educated pianist
with a PhD in Piano Teaching and
Accompaniment with 30 years of professional
experience. In St. Petersburg Russia, I was
a piano instructor at the Vaganova Ballet
Academy. I was also a piano accompanist at
the Mariinksy Theatre in St Petersburg,
Russia. I was a soloist with various chamber
ensembles in Russia. I had also performed on
radio and television. Upon coming to the
United States, I have spent many years as a
private piano instructor teaching all
levels. My standards of excellence are at
the highest level. My teaching method allows
the students to quickly advance in
skills/technique. I have many students, who
at the age of 9 and 10 years old, excelled
so rapidly that they were playing piano at a
college level. By 11 or 12 years old, many
are already playing complicated pieces by
Rachmaninoff and Chopin.
