Recording and production
Recorded, edited, produced, and published 5 CDs in the last two years.

COMPUTERS 
Advanced user of Finale music notation software, Microsoft office, and other advanced application programs for graphical editing, web authoring, sound editing and recording. Trained colleagues on computer operations and provided technical guidance.

Asaf Blasberg, pianist and composer
Biography

Asaf Blasberg, 24, has received his master's degree from The Juilliard
School in New York, and his bachelor degree from the Mannes College of
Music, New York. His teachers include Jerome Lowenthal, Jerome Rose, David
Beuchner, and Lucille Straub. He began playing the piano at age four, and at
ten, he started composing. In 1986 he had the honor of playing a
commissioned work written by Richard Felciano for the Music Teachers
Association of California (MTAC) at the state convention in Los Angeles.
"The saving grace was Asaf Blasberg, a 21-year-old pianist and
student at the Mannes Collage of Music, who gave a fine account of the
concerto... it was remarkable, providing a rhythmic backbone that had simply
been missing in the first half of the program." - The New York Times -
August 29, 1998, Mozart's D minor Piano Concerto - performed with the New
Amsterdam's Symphony.

Asaf is a member of the prestigious MTAC Young Artist Guild and has
participated in numerous competitions, master classes, and recitals. Asaf
was the first place winner in the Piano Performance category of the Orange
County Musicians' Association in 1995. He has taken first place awards in
the 1994 Glendale McGaughey Competition; the 1994 California Association of
Professional Music Teachers (CAPMT) Bartok Festival; the 1992 CAPMT Ensemble

Audition; the Southern California Junior Bach Festival in 1992 and 1993; the
West Los Angeles Branch Scholarship Competition, Junior Division in 1992;
and in the Southwestern Youth Music Festival at California State University,
Domingo Hills, Young Pianist Category in 1992 and 1994. In addition, Asaf
was also the top prizewinner in the Musical Arts Competition in 1990, 1992,
and 1993; the Exchange Club's Search for Talent, California-Nevada State
Competition in 1993; and a finalist in the Los Angeles Music Center's
"Spotlight Awards" competition. A semifinalist of the 1997 Naumburg
International Piano Competition in New York City. In the summer of 1999,
Asaf participated in the International Keyboard Institute & Festival,
founded by Jerome Rose. He was the second prizewinner of the Dorothy
MacKenzie International Artist Recognition Awards Competition held during
the festival.

Asaf has performed throughout the Southern California area as a member of
the MTAC Young Artist Guild and his solo recitals were held in many concert
halls including Ambassador Auditorium in Pasadena. Asaf was a visiting
performing artist at Rancho Santiago College in 1993, participated in the
Orange County Philharmonic Society Musical Encounters Program, 1990, and
performed in elementary schools throughout Orange County. In May 1994, he
was chosen to represent his school in the Disneyland Creativity Challenge
Awards Program and was a winner in the solo instrumental category. In
December 1995, Asaf performed in a solo recital for the Orange County Music
Teachers Association in Anaheim, California. In 1997 and 1998 Asaf also gave
a series of concerts at the Wales and Mansfield Hotels in New York City.
Mr. Blasberg recently performed at the Tilles Center in Long Island, NY with
the Gemini Youth Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Kimbo Ishii-Eto on
March 6, 1999. In the summer of 1999, he participated in the International
Keyboard Institute & Festival in New-York City. He was the second
prizewinner of the Dorothy MacKenzie Artist Recognition Awards Competition
held during the festival.

Asaf was also given the honor to perform in many master classes given by
renowned concert pianists including James Barbagallo, Angela Cheng, Richard
Goode, Byron Janis, Igor Lavrov, Seymour Lipkin, Jerome Lowenthal, Menachem
Pressler, and Bryce Morrison.

In addition to his piano studies, Asaf composes music for various
instruments and has been awarded top prizes. Asaf's compositions were
featured in the National Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Reflection Contest
25th Anniversary Video. He was also the first place winner of the Disneyland
Creativity Challenge Awards Program in May of 1995, in the Original Music
Category; and a first place winner of the 1995 National PTA Reflections
Scholarship Contest, in the Original Composition Category. Furthermore, Asaf
received first place in the Composer's Today Composition Competition in 1994
at California State University, Fullerton, and his composition "Sonatina for
Recorder and Piano" was performed at the 1995 MTAC State Convention in San
Francisco, California.
