BIOGRAPHY
Andreas Hartmann, a Canadian pianist, holds diplomas from several
institutions. He completed his undergraduate work at Memorial University
of Newfoundland, and his Masters at the University of California and has
undertaken doctoral work at Indiana University in Bloomington. He studied
at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and City University in London.
He has worked with Nina Scolnik, Luba Edlina Dubinsky, who is the founding
pianist of the Borodin Trio and with Edmund Battersby at Indiana
University. Mr. Hartmann has performed many solo and chamber music
recitals across North America with distinguished artists such as the
Atlantic String Quartet. Along with a number of appearances on CBC
television, he has also performed with several orchestras.
