I was classically trained at age seven
and later developed a strong interest in
R&B, Jazz, Rock and other genres of music. I
began to study with different instructors,
focusing on blues and jazz. I have been
composing and recording my original music at
home for 15 years and have been performing
with various bands in the bay area for over
20 years.
I incorporate all of my training and experience of
music into my lessons, emphasizing technique,
theory, reading, ear training, improvisation, and
deliverance. I encourage my students to compose
music and remind them that listening to music is
just as important.
